The School fosters a high degree of competence in several co-curricular and extra curricular activities.

Weekly debates, recitations, dramatics and quiz programmes are conducted on inter-house basis. The hobbies and work experience available to the children include philately, photography, coin collection, specimen collection, typing, needle craft, repairing electrical gadgets, cookery, toy making, painting, music, dancing, scouting, N.C.C (Air Wing), Guiding, Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme and band.

Physical Education is compulsory for all students. All the major games, including Cricket, Hockey, Football, Basketball and Volleyball are played by the boys, while girls participate in Basketball, Shuttle Badminton, Kho-Kho and Volleyball. Indoor games such as Table Tennis, Chess and Draughts are available for rainy days.

Facilities for learning swimming in an indoor heated swimming pool, the first of its kind in the Nilgiris, provide the children with a further dimension of activities.

Hikes, Camps, field trips and study tours are organised regularly to enable the children to explore and to learn by experience.
